[MODENA 2011]

Hi guys,
just a quick post to let you know that the Italian Regional will be held, this year, in Modena on sunday the 19th of June. If any of you is crazy enough to take a trip down here you are very welcome to join us for this official tournament. It will be a 2 days card game competition with AGOT on Saturday and WHI and COC on Sunday. Modena is very close to Bologna and not far from Milano.
Why don't you guys get your ass down here and show us some good play ?

A quick check on Ryanair website: there are currently very cheap flights (38 € round-trip, not included: bagage, insurance, credit card payment,...) from Charleroi to Bologna if the reservation is made before thursday 31st March midnight...
Flights:
- Saturday 18th June Morning: Charleroi 8:40-10:20 at Bologna airport
- Monday 20th June Morning: Bologna 10:25-12:45 at Charleroi
(no flight in the afternoon or the evening!)

Bologna Airport to Modena by car: 46 minutes (45-50 km)

I am pretty sure there is some hostel facility around the venue. I'll check it out and let you know. And by train it's only 20 mins from Bologna to Modena.

The probability I could attend is very low. My post was more to give some hints to belgians who would like to attend.

The big adverse argument is that the French Championship will be held around the same time in Lyon, two weeks before... I know that some motivated belgian players will probably go to Lyon, but not sure they will do both foreign events requiring "long" trips in the same month.

And I also think there is plan for a regional championship in Amsterdam around the same period...

Just coming out and saying "hi!" to let you know I won this one.
Is Vincent still around? He was an awesome host for the French Nationals I played.

I'm glad such a strong player like you keep the game going in Italia. I'd be really curious to have some information about the italian meta... as I hope we'll encounter soon in Stahleck !!
