Mantys presents his deck

This is my deck I built myself. Please feel free to comment on anything you like or dislike about this deck. Thanks:

The main thing is to get The Cursed Skull into play with the MU Museum and force opponent to sacrifice a character each turn and overrun him with cheap characters. All other characters have abilities that draw you cards or force the opponent to sacrifice more characters.
Other cards are there to get the combo from your deck. I was told that some cards are bad for this deck. I think this deck will lose each time it plays against rush decks, as it doesn't have time to cycle the combo enough times to remove all your opponents characters from play. So I was thinking adding more cheap characters and remove some cards that search for cards like Unspeakable Research.

What do you think? Oh and sorry for just posting it like this.

If I were you, I would consider playing with it long enough to see which cards can be removed without ruining the combo.
Unspeakable research is one of the best card that allow you to draw, i would keep it.

Can you please tell us which elder thing you use ? Maybe the constructing elder thing ?

Playing Yog-sototh doesn't seems a good choice to me. I'd rather use a cheap character, like the good old Cannibal Ghast, which offers you enough stability to start with a wall in defense.

Yog won't offer you anything except stability and he will appears in the late game, so, as you said, you'll have hard luck to face the weenie/rush decks.

And, most important thing I see in your deck is I'd rather use the Descendant of Eibon's card from the restricted list instead of the diseased sewer rats. Appearing with the token, he can bust opponent's characters better than the rats.

IMHO, the Elder Thing Mantys plays is the following one:

Coût 4 / Skill 3 / Icones
Response: After Elder Thing enters play, put up to 2 cards from your discard pile on top of your deck in any order.

But I do think that you are missing cards to bounce/destroy Support Cards, like Constricting Elder Thing. Indeed, Support Cards are now very powerful and are present in many decks (Khopesh, Snow Graves, Parallel Universe, the new miska Mask, Prize Pistol,...)

Otherwise here are my comments:

Starting Hand:
- Museum Curator or Board of Director or Cursed Skull and M.U. Museum

Sourcing:
2-1-1 --> Museum Curator can be played
3-1-1 --> M.U. Museum or Board of Director can be played if in hand
3-2-1 --> to play cheaper characters (which ones?)
...
Cards choice:
- Focused Art Student and Guardian of the Key are Loyal ! --> don't forget to have a domain with 2 ressources and another (or the same?) with 2 ressources --> it's less flexible than two domains with each 1 and 1 ressources!

- a few characters are Unique! And except Focused Art Student, Diseased Sewer Rats and Guardian of the Key, they all cost 3 or more.

- Your discard recycling mechanism (Elder Thing, M.U. Museum) seems quite interesting, but maybe not sufficient, and will be locked by a Snow Graves, and you have no mean to unlock it.

- Unspeakable Research is maybe a little bit too expansive (Cost 4) for what it does. You already have Museum Curator and you can draw cards with Focused Art Student (if you get it back from the discard)

- Yog seems expensive in your deck (Cost 6) and you can only use it to play A Single Glimpse or Journey to the Other Side from your discard pile.

I completely forgot about Snow Graves! Nooooooooooooo!
And there is nothing I can do about it really with these factions! The only thing is The Dunwich Horror or Constricting Elder Thing, but that is useless.
I was even thinking about Artifact of the Lost Cities with the Skull, it gives me 3 and I can use the drawing cards for something else, for more characters probably. Mage known as Magnus is not restricted, is he?
damn it, I will probably have to look for something else! I will try later to play this deck anyway against non shubbies, I changed it so it looks like this now:
